Stress . . anxiety?: Most of the time, insomnia is 'due to' something else, like certain medications, or stress/anxiety, or pain . . . The goal should be to identify the cause and begin to deal with that more effectively. It can be very difficult--very complicated issues--and you will most likely need to work closely with your doctor. Best of luck.
