Well...: If it's still itchy and swollen after 2 days, that is unexpected. The mouth parts of the tick may still be beneath the skin and can lead to infection or formation of an irritating lump called a granuloma. If there is a rash around the bite area, this could be indicative of other issues still. Would actually get this looked at by a doc. Topical diphenhydramine/menthol helps until your visit.
