Movement disorder: A variety of conditions could be considered, but maybe most likely is presence of heredo-familial tremor. Tourette's and some epileptic conditions can cause periodic movements. Thyroid is a reversible cause. Drug and medication reactions may be present. See a neurologist, as in most cases, diagnosis is relatively easy, and treatment is very successful.
