Sunburn: Yes, it is safe to apply aloe gel overnight for sunburns. If you are having an allergic reaction, however, aloe gel will not help. You should take an anti-histamine such as diphenhydramine instead which should reduce the itching and rash. If this does not help, or you develop facial swelling, trouble breathing, or the rash spreads to other areas, you should seek immediate medical attention.
