How long will hydrocodone show up in a blood test?

Depends: Hydrocodone will not show up in routine blood tests. It is urine that is tested to check of substance abuse. It may be detectable for up to a week, in urine.

Up to 2 days: blood is rarely used for drug tests as the drugs are cleared from the blood much more quickly than the urine. Hydrocodone is usually detectable in the urine for up to 5 days depending on the sensitivity of the test. The only drug that is detectable for weeks is cannabis.
