Likely okay: If you are able to have satisfactory erections in certain situations and not in others, you are unlikely to have any true erectile dysfunction (in other words, it is not physiologic or neurologic). It is, however, likely due to the different psychosocial stressors in place. Discuss this with your provider, psychologist or psychiatrist. If it continues to be a bother, a sex therapist can help.

Erection troubles: I have more questions than answers to your question. To have a good erection you need to be in good health, have no injuries to your penis or prostate. And you need to be sexually attracted to your loved one. Erections are more than 50% mental and less than 50% physical. If you get erections with some people and not with others that may help you realize who you are attracted to.
