How is it diagnosed?: Some people can have sharp shooting pains in different nerves or muscle spasms as a result of nerve compression or previous surgery or invasive procedure on spine get MRI with contrast show enhancement of meningies or arachnoid---the treatment relate to finding a cause or just treat the resulting symptom--has there been a spinal tap?Did you have meningitis before, etc.

No : There is no cure. Treatment options are similar to those for other chronic pain conditions which focus on relieving the pain to allow for carrying out daily activities. Often recommended are: physiotherary, exercise and psychotherapy. Some suggest steroid injections and electrical stimulation
