Possibly: Condoms (and other barrier methods for protection) are not 100% effective at preventing pregnancy. If there is any question (like a late period) taking a pregnancy test is recommended. If it is negative and you still do not get your period, check another pregnancy test 1 week later. Sometimes it is too early in a pregnancy for the test to be positive.
