Due to missed pills: When you miss 3 days of pills in the middle of a cycle, there is a sudden decrease in hormones which brings on your period, and flow is heavy as the uterine lining hasn't matured. Keep taking your pills, and the flow will slow down, but you will most likely have another period at the end of the 28 day cycle. Please use additional protection for contraception.
