I'm on the pill and i got my period 5 days early while still taking the pills. why have i gotten my period, the cramps are very painful ?

Could be : Your period can come early while on the pill if you miss pills or take them late. The other possibility is a pelvic infection which would also explain the cramping. See your PCP, GYN, or an urgent care clinic for evaluation and treatment ASAP. Hope this helps and you feel better fast.
