Pregnancy: The HCG diet is a popular diet now. However, it is the same hormone that your body produces when you are pregnant so it can cause a false positive pregnancy test. Still, if you are pregnant, the HCG should not cause any problems with the pregnancy and won't cause you to miscarry.
