A member asked:

What vaccines is neccessary for my baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pediatric vaccines: There are a series of important vaccines that are should be given prior to age 1 yrs old. The DTaP, Hep B, polio, Hib, Prevnar, (pneumococcal vaccine) and Rotavirus vaccines should be given at 2, 4, & 6 months old. Some of these are available as combination vaccines, so this eliminates the need for so many needles. An MMR, Varicella, and Hep A vaccine should be given at 1 yr old.
