Don't think so: A woman bleeding "pretty heavy" from her vagina doesn't have to consider "implantation" as a cause. However, she can check a urine pregnancy test if she could be pregnant, and of course, contact her doctor if her "heavy bleeding" persists or worries her a lot. Home urine pregnancy tests are very accurate 3 weeks after sex, or 1 week after missing a period or after having a "weird" period.
