Switch when ready: If you don't have symptoms of infection (discharge, pain, fever, etc.), then it's unlikely that the tampons you used have lead to an infection at this point. Many women use scented tampons regularly without problems. Some develop an allergy-like sensitivity, which can cause inflammation and other problems. In general, the fewer chemicals introduced into the body the better! Switch when ready.
