Yes: topical minoxidil (Rogaine) is effective for male pattern baldness but needs to be applied to the scalp as directed lifelong. If use is stopped, newly grown hair will fall out again unfortunately. Hair transplants (hair plugs) are an option as well, performed by a plastic surgeon.
