Yeast infection?: Probably you have a vaginal yeast (candida) infection, also called thrush. Yeast is normal in the vagina, but antibiotic treatment can suppress bacteria so that yeasts overgrow, with itching and irritation. It's easily treated, usually with an "azole" vaginal medication (miconazole, etc), or a single dose of fluconazole by mouth. Contact your doctor for advice about the best treatment for you.
