Risks are high...: Endometrial ablation doesn't prevent pregnancy. Most women who have an ablation also have a tubal ligation. Pregnancy isn't recommended after an endometrial ablation because there is a high incidence of serious complications: Ectopic Pregnancy (Pregnancy outside the uterus); Pre-term birth; Placenta increta (Placenta grows through uterus and won't come out at birth); Transfusion, etc.
