Irregular periods: can be caused by many things. Sometimes you have a month where you don't ovulate and your period is late. Usually it goes back to normal. If it is a persistent problem, it can be caused by stress, training for a marathon, dieting, thyroid problems, medications and many other things. Don't be too surprised if it happens occasionally. If it is persistent, see your doctor. Best wishes!
