Doctor can evaluate: Ringworm on the skin is a fungal infection of the surface of the skin, called a Tinea corporis infection. It generally does not get pus inside it. A pus-forming infection more often has bacteria as the cause. Thus, a doctor should look at the skin problem and offer a diagnosis and treatment.
