Bacterial vaginosis?: The most common cause of increased vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria. Your symptoms are typical: often odor with little dishcarge, with odor often most prominent after sex. It typically smells fishy. Trichomonas and other STDs possible, but only if at risk for STD. Treatment is metronidazole, a prescription antibiotic, so see doctor for diagnosis and Rx.
