Ischial tuberosity?: You may be referring to the ischium, one of the pelvic bones. It has a projection (the ischial tuberosity) that you sit on. There are some hamstring muscle attachments there which i suppose may be causing your pain. You might benefit from hamstring stretching and exercises.
