Kinda: Pregnancies are usually dated based on the first day of the last menstrual period (gestational age). Everyone uses that assumption even though you usually get pregnant about two weeks later. You are correct in that fetal age is two weeks less than gestational age. Usually, only embryologists who study fetal development use fetal age.
