Abdominal pain: If your period began "17 days ago" you may just be having pain from ovulation or an ovarian cyst which has not ruptured. Many times the cyst which occurs with the maturing of an egg will not rupture, and the cyst fills with fluid which causes symptoms described. If this continues, see your healthcare provider for an exam and an ultrasound.
