Probably normal: Intercourse can involve the cervix, depending upon positions used. Occasionally this will create areas of bleeding especially near the opening on the cervix where the inner lining of the cervix is visible on the surface. Red blood will turn brown if it remains in the vagina (like when you're sleeping) and it will discharge in that color. Bright red continuous bleeding is the warning sign.
