May be vaginitis: There is a pH (acid/base) mismatch in the vagina when compared to semen pH. If burning or swelling occurs, there may be a vaginal infection present. Seeing your doctor for an exam and pH measurement should help diagnose yeast or bacterial infection of the vagina.
