Folliculitis: Sounds like you have folliculitis, which is an infection of one or more of the pockets from which hair grows (follicles). Usually, these are caused by a bacteria or fungus and can be treated at home with warm compresses and good hygiene. However, I recommend that you SEE A DOCTOR for a full evaluation and treatment, incl. possible Rx. Don't delay as follicilitis can grow into an abscess!

If by "leg pit"...: ..you're referring to your "bikini zone." the area at the very top of the legs where pubic hair can grow, you might have folliculitis. This is an infection/inflammation of the hair follicles which can be caused by little nicks that occur when shaving with a razor.
