None to many: Heart disease may exist silently for decades and still be lethal. Symptoms are for the lucky ones that then have an opportunity to sort them out before catastrophe. Common symptoms may include chest discomfort, shortness of breath, fatigue, palpitations, but need to know that women may have somewhat different symptoms. Risk factor assessment/management and judicious testing may help.
