Normal finding: Post partum bleeding is quite common. Make sure to do your 6 wk follow up with your OB to rule out anything else. In the meantime, relax and enjoy your bundle of joy. Are you breast feeding? That would help with controlling some of these uterine complications after delivery, BTW, you are especially fertile in this period. Take appropriate caution. Feel better!

OK: You are just a few weeks since delivery, so what you are describing is not unusual. Monitor for ongoing heavy bleeding such as changing a pad every hour, persistent clots, fever, any such concerns, contact your OB
