A member asked:

Took nextchoice pill about two months ago, but i'm now ovulating a week before my period, is it normal? could i be pregnant and still ovulate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

~85% chance it works: A "morning-after" pill works most of the time but not all of the time. A woman should be checking a urine pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex, to confirm non-pregnancy. If having sex and not on a birth control pill or other reliable method, then she should always carry condoms wherever she goes (that means keeping them in her purse, pocket, etc...). How does she know she is truly ovulating?
