Day 20: Spotting on day 20 of your cycle could be due to late ovulation, implantation, or something like cervicitis, abnormal cervical cells, or even a polyp. If you fail to have a normal period on time, check a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days to be sure. If this happens again I'd recommend an exam to be sure what is going on. Hope this helps.
