A member asked:

I've been on continuous birth control pills for almost two years. to 'treat' endometriosis. is it normal to randomly spot/ have breakthrough bleeding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ans: Yes it is. The birth control alters the hormones. The uterine wall still needs to thin. But no ovulation. So you can get a full period or spotty blessing on and off
