Asking why am having painless bumps on the inside of the cheeks.they come and go.got white small lining on the cheeks too.what may be the cause?

Inflammation: "The linear white bumps are technically referred to as the "linea alba", which means "white line". It is an area of "hyperkeratosis", or thickening of the surface tissue layers in the cheek lining, in response to the frictional contact with the teeth. The linea alba is typically located exactly at the level where the upper and lowerteeth meet. Get checked if the area gets thicker or painfull.

Normal, maybe: Not to worry. Normal salivary glands and whitening of tissue along the cheek where your top and bottom teeth come together (linea alba). More pronounced if you chew your cheek or suck it in between the teeth. If the white lining has a pattern that looks like roots of a plant, you may be seeing "striae of Wickham" which is sign of Lichen Planus. If so, see the Dentist. Good Luck.

Unclear: The white lining concerns me if it will not scrape off. If it is fixed and will not scrape off then it could be serious. Try to scrape it off with a spoon.
