30 years old: 17 years is a long time to be on the Depoprovera shot. Usually we limit it to less than 5. Consider asking your doctor to check your bone density. Regardless your future fertility is not affected by previous birth control use. When you remove your IUD you will return to your normal baseline fertility status.
