High dose!: If you can't get pregnant because you are not ovulating each month, Clomiphene Citrate can help you ovulate. It increases your chance of twins by about 7%. Clomiphene Citrate was originally tested as a possible contracepive agent because it can negatively affect cervical mucus at high doses. 500mg is a big dose. In my practice, I don't go over 150mg. Best wishes!
