Can happen: Many things can through off the length of a period or vaginal bleeding.....unknown pregnancy, hormonal imbalance, masses, polyps, fibroids, infection, illness. Consider following up with a doctor if bleeding is > 1 maxi pad an hour for 2 hours straight, if it continues, if associated with fever, odor, shortness of breath dizziness.....or if this pattern recurs > 3 months.
