Metronidazole?: You're in Namibia, right? If possible, have professional evaluation and diagnosis, including STD tests. If that's been done, and/or "bacterial infection" means bacterial vaginosis, and if you are buying drug at a pharmacy, ask for metronidazole (Flagyl®) and other brands) or tinidazole (Tindamax®, more expensive but no better). These will also treat trichomonas, easily confused with BV. Good luck!
