Antibodies: It indicates that you have antibodies to HSV. There are two types of HSV...type 1 and type 2. The common antibodies are IgG (long term) and IgM (short term). I usually recommend testing for IgG and IgM and reflex to type specific (type 1 and/or type 2) to allow better interpretation of your results.
