Unlikely: Nexplanon has a low failure rate since it doesn't require you to take pills or make appointments for injections. Unfortunately, it's very common to have irregular, unpredictable bleeding with this form of contraception. If you have pregnancy symptoms, though, do a pregnancy test to be sure.
