Good question!: Because HPT's are either positive or negative, but nothing in between, it's not possible to know for sure this soon after a miscarriage. You might have retained placental tissue. You might be pregnant again. You might not have actually miscarried. You might even have an ectopic pregnancy, You will need a "serum quantitative HCG" & an ultrasound to know for sure. Best wishes!

Likely from MC: How was mc confirmed that it was complete? Urine pregnancy tests are very sensitive to HCG as low as 25. It is possible that it still reflects your prior pregnancy even 6 wks later. However, you can ovulate after miscarriage wks before getting a period. if you have had unprotected sex since miscarriage you can get a quantitative BHCG blood test for a more accurate result.
