Folliculitis v herpe: Perhaps you had herpes, not folliculitis? Check out http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/ & http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/genital-herpes/basics/definition/con-20020893 for info on genital herpes. Typically, diagnosis made based upon several (more than one) itchy painful blisters. Best to go see your Family Doc, Planned Parenthood or local STD clinic for diagnosis & treatment.

See your doc!: You may have a yeast infection or another type of infection that needs treatment. Best to see your gyno to figure out what's causing your discomfort.
