If it goes away and is not associated with any worriesome signs such as a family history of stomach cancer , weight loss, recurrent vomiting a trial of acid supresssion may help. You can obtain this over the counter but if you are on any other medications ask your doctor about Potential interactions before taking. Trial of 4 weeks may be both diagnostic/therapeut
