37w preg. every few minutes get throat pressure/ tightness. what could it be? obygn thinks it is a food pipe spasm. could it be heart instead?

Reflux: Sounds like it may be spasm probably cause by pregnancy induced reflux. It can and will cause those kinds of symptoms. If it was your heart then I suspect your heart rate or blood pressure would significantly change. Consider nexium (esomeprazole) OTC as an alternative and take everyday.
