A member asked:

Can you still have a period and be pregnant because the period came a week early?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Its not possible to be pregnant after a "true" period; however, a period that comes early may not be a period. Sometimes it is pregnancy related bleeding. It can sometimes be helpful to do a home pregnancy test after the date of your expected period. If you have a lot of pain, or very heavy bleeding, you need to see a doctor. Best wishes!
