With care: the two in combination may lead to increased CNS depression and increased side effects after 5 hours it should be ok also be sure your physician knows you are on both medications

It should be: Both have the ability to suppress breathing and cause sleepiness however after 5 hours the effect of the Vicodin should have worn off
