Medications: Erectile dysfunction can be treated. An initial evaluation can reveal any potentially treatable causes such as low testosterone. If no abnormalities are identified, it can be symptomatically treated with oral medications, injections in the penis, or a nonsurgical vacuum pump. All are effective means for treatment.

ED: There are several causes for a "weak erection". From a vascular standpoint this may relate to poor arterial flow as a result of "clogged" arteries supplying the area, similar to other types of pad. Smoking is also a very common cause and most urologist recommend avoidance of tobacco prior to intercourse. There are multiple other causes and a urology evaluation may be helpful.
