Photosensitive?: If you feel itchy with a rash after sun exposure, the problem may be from dry skin. If you do develop a rash after exposure, then avoidance is the best answer. Interestingly, some people may actually become allergic to an ingredient in the sunscreen causing a rash only after sun exposure. Have you tried taking an antihistamine prior to see if this helps. If not, a derm consult may be in order.
