A member asked:

When you stop birth control how long is the phase of your hormones going crazy to balance out if this even happens?

About a day: Your hormone levels will start to rise to their normal levels about 1 day after you take your last pill and all of the effects of birth control pills are out of your system in about days. There is no time where your hormones go crazy. Your ovaries which were suppressed while on the pill start working again and you return to whatever your normal hormone state was before you started the pill.
