PBC: Antibodies to the M2 subunit are usually seen in patients with PBC (primary biliary cirrhosis). This meams that your AMA is positive (positive antimitochondrial antibody). You need to be followed by a hepatologist and get a biopsy in order to stage your disease if necessary.
