Get urine cultured: UTI's are commonly associated with sexual activity, diarrhea, urinary retention, and hygiene issues. It is to also possible to have issues with frequency, urgency and pain not due to bacteria also -Interstitial cystitis feels exactly like a UTI. It is always better to culture the urine to make sure you correctly identify the issue and guide treatment
