A1c 9.1: Way too high! Check your blood sugar before breakfast. Document all the food and drink you ate from breakfast to lunch. Check your blood sugar again before lunch. If those two numbers are close to each other your food intake is OK but you will need higher doses of insulin or other diabetes meds. Next time check blood sugar before lunch and again before supper/dinner. You will soon learn!
